Implementasi Program Fun with Al-Qur’an dalam Membina Generasi Qur’ani di Desa Teluk Karya

Parents' and educators' understanding of child developmental stages plays an important role in supporting optimal early childhood growth and development. Limited knowledge of age-appropriate developmental characteristics may lead to delays in recognizing developmental problems and inappropriate stimulation. This community service activity aimed to provide education for parents and teachers at KB Sunflower regarding the developmental stages of toddlers entering preschool age and the importance of early identification of possible developmental problems. The activity was conducted on July 4, 2026, through the Forum Komunikasi Orang Tua dan Ustadzah (FOKUS) at KB Sunflower, with Hardiyanti Rahmah, M.Psi., Psychologist, a lecturer from the PGMI Study Program at STIQ Amuntai, serving as the facilitator. The methods included material presentation, interactive discussion, experience sharing, and simple consultation regarding children's development. The activity was conducted in an active and orderly manner. Parents and teachers demonstrated good attention during the presentation and participated in the discussion by sharing their experiences concerning their children's development. The program provided participants with a basic understanding of the importance of identifying children's developmental achievements according to age as a basis for providing appropriate stimulation and conducting early identification when developmental concerns are found. Similar parenting activities should be conducted continuously to strengthen collaboration between families and early childhood education institutions in supporting children's optimal development.
