International Literature of Muslim Understanding (ILMU) applies a transparent publication fee policy. Authors are not charged any fee when submitting a manuscript.

Submission, initial editorial screening, similarity checking, peer review, and manuscript revision are provided without charge.

An Article Publication Charge (APC) of IDR 500,000 is charged only after the manuscript has successfully completed the editorial and peer review process and has been formally accepted for publication.

Authors do not need to make any payment at the submission stage. The publication fee becomes applicable only when the article has been officially declared accepted for processing and publication by the editorial team.

Authors should not make any payment before acceptance.

Payment is requested only after the author receives an official acceptance notification confirming that the manuscript has been accepted for publication.

Authors whose manuscripts are declined or rejected at any stage before formal acceptance are not required to pay the Article Publication Charge.

Editorial decisions are based solely on academic quality, originality, relevance to the journal's scope, publication ethics, peer review reports, and compliance with ILMU's editorial standards.

Payment instructions will be provided only after the manuscript has received an official acceptance decision.

Authors should disregard unofficial requests for payment received before acceptance or from unauthorized individuals. Any payment request should be verified through the journal's official communication channels.

Once the APC has been paid and the accepted article has entered copyediting, layout, or other publication production stages, the fee is generally non-refundable.

Exceptional circumstances may be considered by the editorial office and publisher on a case-by-case basis.

ILMU may revise its publication fee policy when necessary. Any changes will be communicated transparently through the journal's official website.

Authors may submit, undergo editorial screening, peer review, and complete revisions without any publication charge.

A publication fee of IDR 500,000 per article is payable only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for processing and publication, and before the final production and publication process begins.
